MIDLAND

I'm in Midland now! I'm serving in the YSA branch here and it is great! It's quite different from my YSA ward in Lubbock. There is A LOT of work to be done here and I am pumped! 

I had to say goodbye to my wonderful companions and Eddie though :/ I learned so much from all of them and am so grateful they are apart of my life. 

I've never been more grateful or excited to be a missionary! I love this work and I love my Savior. This transfer we are going to work our booties off and find ALL the people to teach. 

And okay since I haven't really emailed the past 2 weeks....

I had an awesome birthday! Eddie and some others threw a surprise party for me. And Eddie drove 2 hours from Amarillo just for that since it was spring break! Me and my comps danced in the rain a lot. It was freezing and almost time for bed both times but it was so much fun. I love them. 

I got to see 2 of my past companions, sister Lloyd and Sister Allart! It was weird seeing them not as missionaries and I can't bring myself to call them but their first names Haha. 

We taught so many amazing lessons where the spirit was so strong. 

I've learned a lot about our power as missionaries. Our calling gives us authority, and keeping our covenants give us power. 

This transfer my vision for myself comes from Preach My Gospel. It is to "live worthily, pray fervently, and learn to recognize and follow courageously the Spirit’s guidance." And now I have all y'all to keep me accountable for that (:

Those are the main things I guess.
