"I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY"

This week i got to go on exchanges with Hermana Clayburn! I love all the miracles that we get to see when we are on exchanges.

I overcame one of my biggest fears and held a snake. It was some constrictor idk but even a garden snake would scare the poop out of me.

We have been going to campus and doing "surveys" where we start out asking people if they believe in God, if they knew there's a prophet on earth today....and it eventually leads to asking them if they want to learn more about The Book of Mormon! We have only done it handful of times, but every time it's been successful! So we have a couple of new people we are teaching from it!

We got to have some really powerful restoration lessons this week with new people we are teaching...it's so cool. no matter how may times you hear/teach the restoration, you can feel the spirit every time because it's that powerful. ah, I love it.

Tuesday we got to have zone conference! I always get a spiritual feast going. But, this time I learned the most from preparing our instruction: "receiving and recognizing the spirit in planning." I have learned so much about personal revelation since I've been on my mission, it's nuts. That's always the best part of instructing or giving a talk...you get so much more out of it than anyone else.

Here's a quote that we included in our instruction that I love:
“This is more important than anything you’ve ever done in your life. You are engaged in the saving of the human soul. That is the thing that God Himself said was His work and glory. It is the purpose for which the Savior came to the earth and gave His life and was resurrected to open those possibilities and promises of Eternal LIfe. It is the purpose for which every prophet has lived and every apostle has spoken. It is the purpose for which every missionary since Adam and Eve have gone forth to declare the truth. You join those ranks! It is the most important thing you can do.”
Jeffrey R. Holland

There have been so many things I have learned this week and so many things that have been made clear to me....I don't even know where to begin! I'm so grateful for the spirit and for his role of being a teacher and comforter, because I've needed both of those a lot this week.

Love y'all
