Many miracles this week!

- The temple with eddie! lubbock is so stinkin windy.

Kimso many miracles this week! i'll just share a few...

miracle 1. so the highlight was getting to go to the temple with Eddie! he was able to be baptized as well as baptize. He baptized me for his sister, and it was a really special experience for me. getting to see him in the font baptizing, i was just filled with such joy and appreciation for him and all the steps he's taken to get here! he's amazing!!
miracle 2. while we were there, the branch from my first area (2+ hours away from Lubbock) came and did baptisms at the same time! it was such a sweet surprise! i got to see the branch president again and so many people i love so much! the lord was really showing me he loved me this week.
miracle 3. GOD IS BREAKIN ANKLES. we were able to have a lesson with Shay and Deja and bring them into the temple waiting room! they had read from the book of mormon, but hadn't prayed about it because they were scared...scared to find out and then leave the religions they grew up in and are comfortable with. soooo they basically already know it's true. we re-invited them to pray about it.  shay was supposed to get confirmed into her church yesterday. she's been working towards this and been  taking classes since August. but Friday she sprained her ankle and wasn't able to go to church since she was in pain...therefore she didn't get confirmed into her church...tender mercies haha.
miracle 4. we were trying by someone in this apartment complex and were unsuccessful. when we were walking back to our car, we went and starting talking to a guy named griffin and his adorable dog. after telling him who we were and whatnot, he asked us "so where can i learn more?" PERFECT QUESTION. so we gave him a restoration pamphlet, invited him to church, and set up a lesson with him. he was texting us question throughout the week and came to church and loved it! he brought a composition notebook of questions he had from the pamphlet, and took notes in it during sacrament. we had an awesome restoration lesson with him after church and he said he would be baptized as he learned more and came to know it was true!

miracle 5. we also were going to a come follow me study on campus yesterday, and went a little early so that we could find someone to invite. we sat down by 2 guys and talked to them for awhile. One of them had some questions, but he didn't seem to be super sincere..kind of just out of curiosity.  we invited him to our ward prayer that night and he came! Us and the APs had a little lesson with him and another girl named Kristen. Isaac turned out to truly be seeking for truth and is excited to read from the book of mormon! we have a lesson with him tomorrow. pray we can teach him according to his needs!
miracle 6. we got to have a lesson with Monica who i met before christmas! she has had some family members die in the past few months and so we went in planning on teaching the plan of salvation. but at the beginning of the lesson, my comp and I both felt like we should do the restoration....it was so powerful y'all. she is another who is truly seeking for truth and wants happiness and peace. unfortunately for us, she has a daughter so we won't get to teach her. but i'm so excited for her!! she also said she would follow the example of Christ and be baptized as she came to know these things were true.

TWO MORE THINGS!
-My lil bro Payt got his mission call to the Brazil Brasilia mission!! he's super stoked, and so am i. maybe even more than he is haha. so keep the MacLay missionaries in your prayers!!
-Elder McGonagill is in the hospital in Mexico right now so extra prayers for him would be appreciated (:
