I don't have much to say, but we had another lesson with Daniel this week and it went awesome! He is just so so prepared.
We helped organize a sand volleyball game that people could invite their friends to, and we had members invite 4 of their friends and other people as well! It was super fun, and then we also had a couple of them come to a YSA activity this past weekend!
I had a prompting to go to this apartment complex in the middle of nowhere and we met this super cool Brazilian dude who wants to feed us Brazilian food, and told us to invite people from church! I'm stoked. I'll get to have food my little bro will be eating on his mission.
We also got to teach institute which was fun. There was only 1 ysa at first but a couple more funneled in. Institute is important. Go to it.
We've gotten to teach a lot of members our mission plan that makes missionary work super simple and easy!
Step 1: pray for your friends! Praying for people by name is powerful. Heavenly Father places very specific people in our lives so they could have the opportunity to hear about the gospel...it's just up to us to open our mouths.
Step 0: this is for all of you who say you don't have any friends who'd be interested or you've already tried sharing the gospel with everyone you know.
Step 0 is to pray FOR friends! Heavenly father is SO willing to place prepared people in the lives of those He's with the Gospel.
Step 2: invite! Simply invite them to spend time with you: go to lunch, watch a movie, play games with your friends, or to a church activity. The more they spend time with you, they will be able to see the light of Christ within you. They won't know what it is, and they will naturally ask questions.
Step 3: LEVEL UP. Level up in your scripture study, prayer, church, and temple attendance. Do this so you can "be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you" (1 Peter 3:15)
We always invite them to simply do step 1 (or 0), just pray. And we ask them for names of their friends so that we can pray for them too.
So that's what I want to invite all of you to do! Step one! And if you email me names of people, I will pray for them with you. <3
I love y'all! Hope you had a great Easter remembering our Savior!
