Eddie Is Back!

Eddie is back!!! He came to dinner with us, the elders, and a member at the senior missionary house as his first stop in Lubbock. We had an awesome lesson with him after. We also learned a lot about the Congo...not a place I want to be. BUT they just opened up a new mission in the Congo and Eddie found out that a temple is being built IN HIS HOME TOWN! it gets dedicated in April! I feel like he will serve in the Congo on his mission. 

Miracle: a little while ago I talked about Noah and Jonah Latham. They are brothers who we saw hanging up Christmas lights so we parked our car and talked to them. They invited us to their Dad's Bible study (he's a traveling preacher) and we have gone twice. The most recent time, we invited Noah to the young adult devotional that was held last night. He came and he brought his brother and their friend, Khalil!! It was soooo sweet. Noah said since we came to the Bible study he wanted to show us he was grateful by coming to the devotional! They're some of the 3 nicest dudes ever. Noah is a blacksmith, Khalil an engineer, and Jonah works at hobby Lobby. (:

I got to go on exchanges again in Seminole, but this time with sister Treadway! She is AWESOME! and we were able to find 2 new people to teach! 

So many great things are happening in the College Park area! I feel so blessed to be apart of it! AND school starts back up at Tech on Wednesday! 

One of my favorite Eddie moments this week was when he said the sweetest prayer, and then after said that he knew now that Heavenly Father loved him so much, and he could feel that love. He said, "and now, I'm new." he is so excited to be baptized. He is so looking forward to having the Holy Ghost with him as his constant companion. I'm so thankful for this gift Heavenly Father has given us, and for the ability we have to feel a small portion of His love for us when we need it.
