"I just hit 7 months"!

The trio

Hey y'all!

We had an awesome branch Halloween party on the 31st! It was supposed to be a trunk or treat but it was rainy all day so that didn't work out. We invited a ton of people, and a nonmember family actually came! My favorite part of the night was the cake walk. They didn't have any music for it and so President Cooper got his guitar and Brother McCarley got his harmonica and played some "old honkey tonk songs" for us. Daniela, who we are teaching, also came and had the most amazing Dinosaur costume.

Briann also came to the party towards the end!! It was the first time we have seen her since she got out of the hospital and I was so dang excited. Her little brother Zach was there too and he's thriving! He's using words now instead of just pointing and screaming to communicate. The move was really good for them (: The Sister missionaries who are over them now went over last night and let Briann do their makeup. Lol.

We also went to San Angelo for exchanges! Sister Horner and I went with Sister Corelli. We got to see a guy named Matt (amazing dude who's been through so much and is trying to turn his life around) who I taught the restoration to during my last exchange there, so that was awesome! He kind of dropped off the face of the earth and that was the first time that anyone got into contact with him for awhile.

We saw Don Menefield this week as well. We had an amazing lesson with him and asked him to pray about being baptized. I studied a few hours for our next lesson with him. He still struggles a ton with going to church, so we had a lesson with him Saturday in which I was suuupperrr bold and gave him some amazing promised blessings. We went over before church and he said he was sorry and "he just can't come to church." he says he doesn't know why and he has no reason.

I love agency but it can be really frustrating and saddening sometimes, especially when you love a person so much and just want their happiness.

We had another lesson with Adler too, and the only youth in our ward (Tanner, 17, has 1.5 year old baby, amazing kid) was finally able to come! We taught Adler the Plan of Salvation and he texted us later and told us he was super grateful for us and he had prayed about what we taught him and was really excited and wanting God in his life completely. He's amazing!

Time keeps escaping me out here...i just hit 7 months! It's going by wayy too fast. Being a missionary is the best. I'm so grateful for all the experiences I've been having and all of my brothers and sisters I've been reunited with! I sure do know my Heavenly Father loves me!

Love y'all!
