We got transfer calls last night!! Sister Lloyd and I are both staying in Brady AND we are getting a sister fresh from the MTC to train! We are soooo excited! 

Instead of a normal email, I'm going to send y'all some of my favorite quotes from here in Brady. Sister Lloyd and I have been writing them in our notes ever since we got here. They might not be very funny without context, or that might make some of them more funny lol.

I hope you all enjoyed and got as much out of conference as I did! It is so amazing that we not only get to live in a time when we have a prophet and apostles on the earth, but that we get to hear straight from them! One of my favorite parts of General Conference was President Nelson talking about the importance of the name of the Lord's church. How crazy is it that all this time, we've been using "LDS" and "Mormon," and leaving out the most important part of our name, Jesus Christ, without even thinking! We are being disguised as the Mormon church rather than Christ's Church. And that's exactly what this church is, HIS! I know that Jesus Christ restored this gospel through Joseph Smith. I know we have a prophet on earth today who continues to receive revelation for us in these latter days. It's not our prophet who is emphasizing and changing things, it is our Savior. He is the head of His church and I'm so grateful that He is allowing me to share this glad message with the people in Brady.
