"Eddie's baptism was amazing"!

EDDIE'S BAPTISM WAS AMAZING! and I only cried a lot.
It made me so dang happy to see him in white! We were standing on the side of the font and as soon as he started walking down the steps I started tearin' up. He came up out of the water beaming with the most precious look on his face. He then turned to everyone watching and gave them the biggest smile ever. Eddie was baptized by a senior missionary in the ward, Elder Gibbs, who Eddie considers to be his Dad. He has found a family in the church and he loves it! Sister Gibbs aka Mom gave a beautiful talk on the Holy Ghost. Then Eddie was invited to bear his testimony....haha...yeah. He got up there and went on about his entire life story, not really bearing his testimony at all. lol. After a solid 20 minutes Bishop got up and said something to him. lolol. Eddie is my guy.

Earlier this week, we were having lunch on campus after a lesson with Eddie, and he asked me if I got nervous going up to people to talk about Jesus. I told him how yeah, at first it can be kind of intimidating. He didn't think so, and said it's easy to talk about Jesus. He said he'd go do it right then, and so I told him to take a copy of the Book of Mormon with him and tell them about it.  He got up and with no hesitation went to the next table of students and introduced himself and told them about the Book of Mormon. It was amazing. All of them said they were happy in their faith, BUT YEAH I was thoroughly impressed by Eddie and have decided I will single-handedly save the money for him to serve a mission if I have to lol. The time is running out though...he's 24 and the cutoff is 26 haha

Other cool things this week:
We did a family history fair at campus and met two awesome girls named Shay and Deja! We also invited them to the Friday institute lunch and class and they came! We were able to introduce them to the Book of Mormon and invited them to Eddie's baptism, and they came to that too! we have a lesson with them this Wednesday!

I got to go on exchanges with Sister Pratt this week as well! She a cutie.

Yesterday we went to the campus library to do a come follow me study and we met this dude in the elevator. On our way out of the elevator, we invited him and his friend to our bible study and he said "yeah...I probably should haha" but he and his friend went up to the next floor. 10 minutes later he pops his head into the room we were in and asks us how long we'll be there! He said he had a test he needed to study for and take. We told him, and he scurried off again. After the study, Sister Kitterman and I stalkerly went up to the next floor and walked around like creepers until we found him and got his name and number lololol. of course he was in the last study booth on the last floor.

Beckley came to Eddie's baptism too and told a member that if we held a baptism service in March, he would probably get baptized! We are going to see if we can fit it into our schedules. lol.

So yeah this area is awesome being a missionary is awesome.  Oh! I'll be staying here another transfer! I'm getting a new comp, Sister Larson, who I'll be training to be a Sister Training Leader! I'm stoked!

Happy Valentines Day y'all!
