"We had our first "Light the World" booth on campus".

Seasons Greetings to All:

This week was yet another crazy busy one. We had our first Light the World booth on campus. It was a HUGE success. We gave out free hot cocoa, even though it ended up being 75 degrees outside haha. We got to talk to so many students and tell them about light the world, and we got 70 names and numbers! We are going to be texting all of them tomorrow about a service opportunity on Monday! And we still have 2 more days of the booth! It's going to be LIT.

We had some great lessons this week as well! Marek is from the Czech Republic and Toro from Nigeria. They were both recently baptized so we have been working with them!
We also got to have a lesson with an investigator named Eddie from the Congo. He is really searching for truth and light right now, so if you could keep all these people in your prayers, that would be awesome!

We are also teaching a girl named Jasmine who's dad actually went to school with my dad in lil' ol Duncan! small small world.

Lubbock does a Nativity event every year that we got to be apart of. It was SO COOL I wish you all could come! People from all over the community donate their nativity sets and they are set up beautifully in the church building by the temple. We got to help set it up, and then we were there twice this past week after it was all accomplished! Our shift in the missionary room was for 2 hours and i had chills the entire time haha. The building was set up so beautifully and the spirit was so strong.

I also went to my first ARP meeting this week and it was super cool! The 12 step program is amazing. I would encourage all of you to read it! I have been studying from it the past few months and I have learned so much.

This morning we got to help at a foster home's breakfast with Santa. Normally, we wouldn't do service with kids but it was being put on by Texas Tech students so our mission president thought it would be a really good opportunity! If nothing else, we got to invite a few people (including Santa and Mrs. Claus) to the Nativity!

Being a sister training leader is so much fun! I have loved getting to know and love each of the sisters we serve!

I hope y'all have an amazing week filled with many ways to Light the World and serve our Heavenly Father's children around us! 'Tis the season and Christ is the reason!

Love you!
