"I'm being shipped off to Lubbock . . .A Sister Training Leader".

Okay so yeah first off, I'm being shipped off to Lubbock! I'm serving in a YSA WARD with Sister Kitterman. We will cover all of Lubbock, including the Texas Tech campus! Also, I'm going to be a Sister Training Leader! We will be covering two zones, so over lots and lots of missionaries. So I'll probably be going on exchanges at least once a week. I'm super excited and anxious and sad and happy! I'm going to miss my Brady family so much! There have been a lot of tears when people have found I'm leaving and when I go to say goodbye. It's been rough. The branch president threw a little thing together at the park today where we roasted weinies and smores, had a jam sesh, and a good ol time. They all really have become family and I'm so grateful for each of them! I'm excited to go serve the youths Lubbock and my fellow Sister missionaries!

And so yeah other highlight of the week was that I skinned a deer! We were biking and there were these guys skinning it in the back of their truck in their front yard (I didn't think anything of it then but now typing it I'm realizing thats definitely a small town Texas thing lol) so we went and talked to them. After watching him for a little while I asked if I could try and they actually let me lol. They also had me break off some of the legs. Miracle: we gave him our number and he called and said we could come over last night for some deer meat. He ended up asking me what the main thing I believed in was, so I got to bear my testimony to him on how much I love my Savior. He found it all really interesting and accepted a book of Mormon! We gave him a chapter to read and he said he would most definitely read it and we could come by today at 5 to teach him and his friend a lesson! I'm super excited!!

Last Monday our friends at K-life (Christian youth group) also found out that one of us may be leaving, and so one of them asked if she could cook us dinner! All of them came over and it was really fun! At the end of the night, the leader of the organization here, Mick, asked if we could meet him at the library the next day to talk about what we believe. He said he's never felt like he's had a good enough relationship with missionaries in the past to actually talk about what we believe without it being contentious. He is veryyyy knowledgeable in the Bible. He has basically the whole thing memorized. And he learned Hebrew so he could read it in Hebrew. It ended up being a really good conversation and he said he learned a lot. He isn't prepared right now, but I know that he will be one day!

Welp I got to get back to packing! Thank y'all for all your love and support! Sorry, I have a million things I need to do today!

For the last time:
