Wowzas! What a good first couple of days here at the MTC! My companion and district are amazing! My companion is Sister Nautu. She is from Oahu, Hawai'i. She is awesome and we get along really well!
I also have the best district. The sisters are all awesome and we love each other a lot. Sister Raddigan is from Sacramento area i believe and Sister Kovacx is from LA area.The elders are all really funny and supportive and good teachers. I love all of them so much! Our zone is awesome too. They all leave on Monday though to Colorado so it'll be just my district! We'll miss them. Especially elder toh from Australia haha. He's a character and all the elders in my district and my companion are going to Australia so they love him and teasing him haha. We all have a real good time together.
Sister Nautu and I have already taught two lessons to our "investigator" Lauren. She's actually just our teacher. Lol. But we'll teach two actual investigators starting next week! Crazy!
they really do just throw you into it. They say the MTC is like trying to drink from a fire extinguisher. Truer words have never been spoken.
The food here rocks and I'm definitely gonna gain a ton of weight lol. But guess who doesn't care!
I seriously live the MTC! Our teachers rock and have taught me a ton! Brother Oniki is my favorite (yes dad Oniki is Japanese). Our three teachers are all fresh off the Mish so they can relate to us really well.
This morning we were able to go to the temple as a zone for our p-day! It was great and I kinda wish that I could be at the MTC longer so I could visit the temple once and week, be with my awesome district, and get fat off the good food. but gotta get to work sometime! Can't wait to see what else is to come!
